It doesn’t matter the distance — whether it’s the last 5 miles in a marathon or the few minutes in a 5K, negative thoughts will start creeping in: “I’m tired!” “I’m dying!” “I can’t do this!” But then we round the corner and see the finish line and our legs kick it in. What changed? Our thinking. All of a sudden we’re telling ourselves we got this.
