Our mom running group offers expert-led workout classes and group runs designed for all fitness levels—not just moms! Whether you’re training for your first 5K, tackling a marathon training plan or simply looking for accountability and walking buddies, we have a program for you. ABOUT OUR STORY

Moms on the Run started in 2008 in Forest Lake, Minnesota, when a group of moms, eager to spice up their post-baby fitness journey, set a bold new goal: training for a 5K. What began as casual meetups in a local park quickly grew into a nationwide movement, helping women find motivation, connection and a lifelong love of running.

ABOUT GIVING BACK

At Moms on the Run, we believe in making a difference—both on and off the pavement. That’s why we donate at least 10% of our profits to charity. Beyond financial contributions, we support our community through runner scholarships, partnerships with local races and volunteer efforts that promote health and wellness.

Giving back is part of who we are, and we’re proud to help women achieve their fitness goals while strengthening the communities we serve.

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Fueled by her faith and a passion for fitness, Moms on the Run founder and CEO Karissa Johnson launched the program to help women regain their strength and confidence after the challenges of motherhood. What started as a local running group has grown into a thriving fitness franchise, empowering women nationwide to embrace the running benefits of a supportive and structured training program.
