5K TRAINING
VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING
Many locations, along with Moms on the Run National, now offer virtual programming that give you access to a variety of classes such as yoga, Pilates, and strength training. You may be surprised at how great connecting virtually can be. There is no commute, you get to join from the convenience of your home while still interacting with your teammates. BONUS: your post-workout coffee is only steps away.
STRENGTH & CARDIO BOOTCAMP
Our Strength and Cardio Boot Camp offers classes from 1 to 3 times per week. The class format includes 20 minutes of walk/run intervals intermixed with 20 minutes of strength training and 10 minutes of warm-up, cool down and stretching. We offer endurance classes which focus on increasing mileage for those interested in training for a 10K, half marathon or beyond.
FULL AND 1/2 MARATHON TRAINING
Many of our Moms on the Run locations offer training programs to current customers who are training for a marathon or half marathon. Our training plans have been designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson and are designed to integrate into our weekly class schedule.
OFF-SEASON RUNNING
Classes and run clubs outside of peak running season offer organized structure and accountability to stay motivated!
During the winter (for our northern US locations) and summer (for our southern locations), we still offer outdoor running, indoor cardio and strength training options, track workouts and more.
KIDS ON THE RUN
Kids on the Run is about promoting healthy kids and getting families active together!
Kids on the Run will provide you and your school-age children the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of fitness and running together. It’s a great option for kids who are not in organized sports to stay active.
WHY JOIN MOMS ON THE RUN?
Our unique approach features women of all ages and fitness levels supporting other women. A strong sense of community thrives in this fun team environment. Ultimately, this is the trigger that helps you establish and stick to your fitness routines. Research indicates that we’re more successful at making changes with the support of other people, according to Dr. Christine Carter, sociologist at the University of California, Berkeley. “Because the behavior of others is highly contagious, we do well when we hang out with people who are already in the types of habits that we are trying to establish,” Carter says in her book “The Sweet Spot: How to Find Your Groove at Home and Work.”
Moms on the Run participants report experiencing a myriad of benefits. First and foremost, they cite the accountability and support to create healthy habits, which leads to improved fitness levels.
