The annual Moms on the Run 5K/10K and Kids Run is a great way to celebrate your summer training season. This race serves as the big summer finale for our Twin Cities Moms on the Run locations, and a destination event for our runners nationally! Grab your teammates; both in-person and virtual runners are eligible for our team challenge and the opportunity to win our post-race pizza party (virtual runners; we can bring the pizza to you)!

All women are welcome to join us! Walkers welcome. This event is fun for all and is not exclusive to members. Bring the whole family to enjoy the festivities: food trucks, music, face painting, crazy hair, sign-making and kids’ races! Register today!

Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Lake Phalen Regional Park in St. Paul, MN (1600 Phalen Dr., St. Paul) Join us at beautiful Lake Phalen in St. Paul, MN and choose from a Women’s & Youth 5K, Women’s 10K or Kids Run. Your entry includes chip timing, a women’s long-sleeved shirt, finisher’s medal, and personalized bib*. Race Times and Event Schedule

We have fun planned for the whole family, so bring along your cheerleaders! Enjoy food and drinks from local food trucks. Our kids’ run will be in person this year, as well as all our usual “crazy hair” and face painting fun.

KIDS RUN WITH AN OLYMPIAN!

Olympian Carrie Tollefson will connect with our kiddos for a fun pep talk and pre-race warmup. Then she’ll run the half mile course with them! Shorter “dash” distances are available for our toddlers and preschoolers.

VIRTUAL RACE DETAILS

We will provide a live start and occasional live feeds from the finish through Facebook Live and introduce special prize drawing opportunities through social media for virtual runners who share their race moments with us by the end of August.

Choose from a 5K, 10K or Kids’ Run*. Our 5K and 10K entries will receive a women’s long-sleeved performance shirt, bib and finisher’s medal (first 250 registrants). Kids’ Run participants receive a youth tech tee and finisher ribbon. With your virtual run registration for the 5K or 10K, you choose your location and participate at your convenience. You are eligible for prizes! Race awards are not available for virtual runners but we will conduct prize drawings among finishers.

While supplies last, get a long-sleeve technical performance shirt, medal, and customized race bib. We will offer an in-person pickup or the ability to ship packets for an additional fee. Packets will begin shipping 8/16/2024.

All 5K/10K registrations receive a long-sleeved technical performance shirt with our 5K/10K logo, personalized bib and clear finisher’s medal. (Please note: Medal will be clear; gray has been added for ease in viewing the design online.)

Race-Day Parking Parking is available at three lots at Lake Phalen, with the pavilion event lot spaces being available first come first serve. Do not park in the golf course lot. View Parking Map

Partner Charity A portion of proceeds will go to our favorite local charity with worldwide impact, Feed My Starving Children! Learn more at www.fmsc.org. Proceeds will also go to other charity organizations helping to support our event with volunteers, as applicable

Award Certificates Participants in our 5K/10K in-person race will be awarded certificates for 1st – 3rd place finishers in 7 age categories for each event, and prizes for 1st in each category, for women and youth. Must be present at our awards ceremony to receive awards. Participants in the virtual run will not receive awards.

Refund Policy There will be no refunds for any reason. Contact angela@momsontherun.com by 8/15 to arrange a change to your registration such as: distance changes, transfer race registration to another runner, or switching between virtual and in-person (subject to capacity limits). There will be an administrative fee applied to these requests, which will be $10 for distance changes & $15 for registration transfer. Offering your bib to an unregistered participant is not allowed due to legal and liability concerns as well as that fact that it could affect age category results for all participants such as resulting in the rightful winners not receiving their earned prize.

Weather Information The Moms on the Run 5K/10K will be held rain or shine. However, for safety reasons, we will cancel the in-person events due to lightning or other severe weather, and unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds due to costs already incurred. Take care to dress for the weather conditions.

After Party Be sure to stay after the race for the age category awards, DJ, prize drawings, food trucks and our biggest award of the day: Inspiring Member of the Year
