KIM – FRANCHISE OWNER & COACH

I began coaching for Burnsville Moms on the Run in 2014, and moved into the role of Franchise Owner in 2016.  What a journey it has been! The supportive environment and camaraderie offered through our Moms on the Run family is unlike any other group I’ve ever been a part of.

No matter what your goals, you’ll be surrounded by teammates that will encourage, push, inspire, support and motivate you along the way. They are the absolute best accountability partners, will be your biggest cheerleaders, and make staying active FUN!

As a fitness instructor I’m a big believer in finding the joy in the journey, making fitness fun, creating a supportive and encouraging environment, and designing programs that can be adapted for all fitness levels.  I believe that staying active outdoors all year around holds incredible health benefits, and love to embrace the beauty of all of Minnesota’s seasons. I also believe that accomplishing this task of year-around outdoor activities is much more fun and more easily accomplished with friends by your side.  So thankful for our adventurous crew at MOTR and their willingness to show up in any and all conditions.  So thankful for the memories we’ve created and the adventures that lie ahead!

Coach Kim has been Ace Certified for Group Fitness since 2011.  Certifications include: RRCA Level 1, Keiser Cycle Instructor, Boot Camp, Aquafit, Silver Sneakers, Functional Fitness.  Prior to becoming Ace Certified, Coach Kim was a certified High School Track and Cross-Country Coach.

COACH KARI

I have been coaching with Moms on the Run since 2013 and with the Lakeville/Burnsville location since 2020. I have been a runner since junior high school and have completed a number of different race distances over the years. This includes distances from 5ks to full marathons, duathlons, trail races and even long-distance relay races. I enjoy all aspects of running and especially love talking training programs and marathon prep. Despite living in a northern state, I enjoy running in all 4 seasons and being able to enjoy the beautiful outdoors year-round. Additionally, I am a stay-at-home homeschool mom to two kiddos and my husband is a pastor.

COACH KATIE

Katie began her running adventure in 2011 with Moms on the Run in Apple Valley. After a couple of years, she became a volunteer coach at the Lakeville/Burnsville locations. Katie has run race distances from 5K to half marathon, and both a trail and road Ragnar. Her most memorable was a 1/2 marathon in Norway with another Moms on the Run friend. Katie is best known for saying, “I may not like running, but I love Moms on the Run!” You will usually find Katie in the back (where the party is) leading walking or our shorter running intervals. She cannot wait to meet you at class and help you find the fun part of MOTR!

COACH CATHIE

Hello, I’m Cathie-jo I have been apart of Moms On The Run for 9 years! I look forward to each and every season.

Before I ran with MOTR I was not a runner. If I can learn to run, so can you! I

have lived in Lakeville for 32 years with my husband and 3 boys. My boys have grown and moved on. I look forward to getting to know you.

COACH NATALIE

Natalie has been running with Moms on the Run for over 10 years and enjoys running long distance, trails or road all year round! As a coach she encourages women to believe in their own strength and to treat running as a holistic pursuit, equally valuable to body and mind.

She has two children and enjoys reading, baking and gardening when not running!

COACH PAULA

My husband told me 12 years ago we were going to start running to get healthy…

Soon after my journey with Mom’s on the Run began – I met so many wonderful people, wonderful friends and I have been inspired by every one of them. I have coached Burnsville –Lakeville Mom’s on the Run for over 11 years.  Along with the amazing people I have coached, my journey has introduced me to the most amazing parks and trails that I never knew existed so close to my home.

I have a wonderful, encouraging husband of 30 years, and a highly active, fun, fabulous 7th grade son named Wyatt. I am a Regional Director and am so glad I have my Gals to unwind with and occasionally vent to.

My life is so much richer with Mom’s on the Run – Thank you to all the members and coaches!

COACH INGRID

I have been with Moms on the Run since 2015 and moved into coaching in 2021. I was born and raised in the Netherlands and have always been active in cycling, running, working out, hiking and just being outdoors. Moms on the Run is offering all that and so, so much more! The best thing about this group is meeting so many different women and having this amazing group of like-minded friends and it only keeps growing!

I’m coaching mostly during the early morning hours (it is really fun and makes for the BEST start of your day!).

When I’m not coaching with Moms on the Run, I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, married to Greg, mom of a teenager and a bonus mom of two adult sons.

COACH ANGIE

Angie joined MOTR shortly after her daughter was born in 2014.  She wanted to meet other moms and be healthy. Prior to joining she had very little experience with running. Now running and being part of the MOTR team is a passion.  Angie enjoys helping others reach their goals and seeing them reach their full potential. Outside of running she loves spending time with her husband and daughter, walking the beach and watching her daughter dance and surf.

COACH JILL

Jill has lived in the Lakeville/Burnsville area for over 20 years. She enjoys being active in the community, especially with Moms on the Run.

Jill joined Moms on the Run in 2011 and has been a run/walk coach for several years.
