ANGIE, HEAD COACH/FRANCHISE OWNER

I started Moms on the Run Shakopee in the fall of 2015. I was a middle school Language Arts teacher for 10 years before deciding to stay home with my 5 kids (includes two sets of twins, one fraternal set and an identical set). Most recently, I went back to work full-time, as an elementary physical education teacher at Jackson Elementary.

I started running competitively in middle school and continued through high school, competing in cross-country running, Nordic skiing and track.

Running has not only improved my life physically, but also mentally, helping to alleviate daily stress and anxiety. I have run a variety of distances, ranging from 5ks to marathons.

I am continually amazed and inspired by the women I have met through this program. Your testimonies and stories of success make me feel so blessed. One of the most exciting aspects of the program for me has been watching the new friendships form. In a culture where we are too busy to connect, we are doing just that while taking care of ourselves and getting a workout in at the same time. I hope to meet you soon!

COACH TRACY

I began my running journey in 2008 at age 36, and I joined Moms on the Run in the spring of 2016.  Prior to joining, I had run many races ranging from 5K’s to full marathons.  Running and working out alone was getting lonely and boring so I was looking for a group to keep me motivated, while meeting new people and having fun in the process.  I found MOTR to be exactly that, plus more!  The motivation, support, and friendship that this group provides has been a lifesaver in more ways than one.

Not only do we support each other through our very different fitness journeys, but also we support each other through the rollercoaster of surviving life.  It is a privilege and a blessing to be a member of this amazing group of strong women!

SPRING AND SUMMER

SIGNATURE TRAINING

Our signature training program lets you attend classes from 1 to 5 times per week. We strongly recommend choosing an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season.

FALL

STRENGTH + CARDIO BOOT CAMP

Our strength and cardio boot camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We’ll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.
