About Our Program

If you've been waiting for the motivation to get your start as a runner, this program is for you!

Moms on the Run offers a structured fitness program for women of all ages (not just moms) who want to get in shape and have fun doing so. Run your first 5K, improve your speed and endurance or stay motivated in your walking routine.
We offer a great selection of training formats at different times of the year. We focus on interval training to increase cardiovascular fitness levels and maximize metabolism benefits. You'll start right where you are, and walk, jog or run your way to a first race or personal record!

5K Training

Our Signature Training Program offers classes from 1 to 3 times per week. Each 60-minute class format typically includes 30 minutes of cardiovascular interval training for all levels, a warm-up and cool-down, 15 minutes of strength training, and 10 minutes of stretching and education.

We also offer endurance classes that focus on increasing mileage for those interested in training for a 10K, half marathon or beyond.

Virtual Programming

Many locations, along with Moms on the Run National, now offer virtual programming that give you access to a variety of classes such as yoga, Pilates, and strength training. You may be surprised at how great connecting virtually can be. There is no commute, you get to join from the convenience of your home while still interacting with your teammates. BONUS: your post-workout coffee is only steps away.

Why Join Moms on the Run?

Our unique approach features women of all ages and fitness levels supporting other women. A strong sense of community thrives in this fun team environment. Ultimately, this is the trigger that helps you establish and stick to your fitness routines. Research indicates that we’re more successful at making changes with the support of other people, according to Dr. Christine Carter, sociologist at the University of California, Berkeley. “Because the behavior of others is highly contagious, we do well when we hang out with people who are already in the types of habits that we are trying to establish,” Carter says in her book “The Sweet Spot: How to Find Your Groove at Home and Work.”

Moms on the Run participants report experiencing a myriad of benefits. First and foremost, they cite the accountability and support to create healthy habits, which leads to improved fitness levels.

A Healthier You

By taking part in Moms on the Run, many women report weight loss, increased energy, stress reduction and improved body composition. By definition, our high intensity interval training workouts act as metabolism boosters; they help you gain lean muscle and lose fat.

Accountability

Our program is designed to promote encouragement and accountability. Over time, you will form friendships that will help you stay accountable to regular exercise, the program and to each other. Our friendly and professional coaching staff, including certified fitness instructors, offers additional support and expert advice.

Health and Nutrition Education

From drinking more water to conquering that sweet tooth, our optional nutrition and lifestyle challenges will help you stay motivated between classes. We often throw in accountability and prize incentives as a bonus!

Optional Ladies’ Nights Invites

Because a girl’s gotta have some fun! Groups often schedule optional social activities outside of class to further friendships or enrich team spirit.

Free Swag

Participants who register by the regular deadline for certain programs receive a free performance technical t-shirt or tank in the style of their choice, while supplies last.

Savings

Check with your coach for discounts if you qualify as a member of a military family, public servant (police, fire, EMT), one-income household (stay-at-home or single mom) or student.

RunBuck$ Membership Rewards Program

Earn RunBuck$ by participating in various contests, challenges and service opportunities--or for referring your friends.
