We had such a blast at our 2022 Destination Run to Clearwater, FL, we are excited to travel to Tempe, AZ for Rock 'n' Roll Arizona. Join us for a destination run weekend with our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson, and Moms on the Run, Jan. 13-16 (with option to stay until the 17th). This runcation will fill you up with fitness, fun and friendship. Come alone or with your best running friends and choose your own adventure. Whether it's pushing yourself during the race (multiple distances available), enjoying social time with like-minded women or relaxing by a beautiful rooftop pool, there's something for everyone. If you haven't registered yet, what are you waiting for? You do not have to be a member of Moms on the Run to join us. Visit our destination run page for more details!
Last weekend was Twin Cities Marathon weekend in Minnesota — and it was a beautiful fall day for a run! Congrats to all of our amazing women who trained hard and ran their hearts out — from 10 mile to marathon to Loony Challenge (5K, 10K + 10 Mile). Check out some of the fun photos from our cheer zone.
More than 250 runners joined us for this year's Moms on the Run 5K/10K and Kids Run at beautiful Lake Phalen in St. Paul and online virtually. For our in-person event, the overnight rain moved out and we were greeted with perfect temps for a race! If you ran with us, you can find your race results here. We also have a Google photo album to which you can upload your race photos for us to use and maybe find a photo of you!
The race featured fun for the whole family. The kids were able to take part in face painting, crazy hair and sign making (yay, moms!), before their own 1/2 mile "Run with an Olympian" and kiddie dash. Our after-party included prizes courtesy of Run n Fun, Rachel Baar with BeautyCounter and Norwex, Author and Coach Gabe Cox, UCAN and new Moms on the Run merchandise. We loved the fun food trucks: Inferno Wood Fire Pizza, Powl (smoothies and acai bowls), and Cookie Dough Bliss. And a big thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make the event run smoothly. We're grateful for you!
You've trained hard all summer and now you're ready to run your race. But how do you stay motivated after a big race or goal? Moms on the Run National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson, talks about this in today's training tip. Enjoy! At Moms on the Run, we celebrate our summer training season with a 5K/10K on Aug. 28. For more information about our event, visit here.
Our second annual Celebrate Moms LIVE virtual 5K was a success! We loved seeing so many of you individually and with your teams celebrate moms, a beautiful day and running! Coach Carrie and Coach Amy were awesome motivators in our ears, cheering everyone on throughout the race and finish line. Congrats to everyone for putting in the mileage and fun!
We loved Denver member Gabe Cox's story. Her young son wore her tracker, so during the race in the Charge app, it looked like Gabe was running. In reality, it was Gavin — who came in 5th place!
Catherine Breiwick exemplified total mom mode, maximizing her time by running her 5K outside her daughter's dance practice. Teams from Chisago, Forest Lake, New Brighton, Roseville, Shoreview and White Bear Lake Moms on the Run all raced together in one location. And many of you uploaded photos during and after the race in the Charge app. Check out the gallery of fun photos below! Congrats, everyone!
If you missed our race, you can still experience it on-demand. Buy it here and see what all the fun was about.
