In-Person Packet Pickup
At pickup you’ll receive your shirt and bib with disposable timing chip (5K). Remember to pick up pins to attach your race number. Come to advance packet pickup for giveaways!

  • This information will be updated for 2026! Friday, Aug. 22, 2025 from 3-6 p.m. 
    • TC Running, 868 Randolph Ave, St. Paul 55102
  • Race day packet pickup at Lake Phalen Regional Park is not recommended but will be offered from 5:30*-6:00 for those who are unable to pick up in advance. *Kids’ run packets can be picked up at 5:00.
  • Race day registration is available while supplies last (swag may sell out). 

Please note: If you are picking up for a large group you may experience longer wait times. Be prepared to let other runners in line be served while we are gathering packets for more than four people.

KIDS RUN WITH AN OLYMPIAN!

Olympian Carrie Tollefson will connect with our kiddos for a fun pep talk and pre-race warmup. Then she’ll run the half mile course with them. Shorter “dash” distances are available for our toddlers and preschoolers.

WALKERS & NON-MEMBERS WELCOME

Walkers are welcome in the 5K. You don’t have to be a member (or a mom) to join—this event is open to everyone.

*All registered adults will receive locally made pizza and locally brewed kombucha at the Sunset Fun Fest! All participants registered by 7/31 will get race custom bibs. We don’t anticipate being able to offer in-person registration.  We will monitor last-minute registrations and close registration as needed.

This information will be updated soon for 2026, but this is a general idea of what you may receive as race swag. 

While supplies last, get a long-sleeve technical performance hoodie and customized race bib. We will offer an in-person pickup or the ability to ship packets for an additional fee. Packets will begin shipping 8/16/2025.

2026 5K SWAG

All 5K registrations receive a personalized bib, medal and a long-sleeved technical hoodie branded with a small logo on the chest. Our performance pullover features a medium weight for fall warmth and is bound to be a new favorite layer. Its unique double sided fabric features a black accent on the hood and honeycomb texture.

2026 KIDS DESIGN

All kids’ run registrations receive a youth shirt in blue featuring and a finisher ribbon, along with a custom bib.

VIRTUAL RACE DETAILS

We will provide a live start and occasional live feeds from the finish through Facebook Live. In addition, we will introduce special prize drawing opportunities through social media for virtual runners who share their race moments with us by the end of August.

Your virtual package will include all the swag!
Select 5K or Kids’ Run*. Our 5K entries will receive a women’s long-sleeved performance hoodie, medal and personalized bibs. Kids’ Run participants receive a youth tech tee and finisher ribbon. With your virtual run registration for the 5K, you choose your location and participate at your convenience. You are eligible for prizes. Race awards are not available for virtual runners but we will conduct prize drawings among finishers.

RACE INFORMATION

Course Information THIS INFO WILL BE UPDATED FOR 2026 LOCATION. View our course maps for the 5k and 10k around Lake Phalen.

Race-Day Parking Parking is available at three lots at Lake Phalen, with the pavilion event lot spaces being available first come first serve. Do not park in the golf course lot. View Parking Map

Partner Charity A portion of proceeds will go to our favorite local charity with worldwide impact, Feed My Starving Children! Learn more at www.fmsc.org. Proceeds will also go to other charity organizations helping to support our event with volunteers, as applicable

Award Certificates Participants in our 5K/10K in-person race will be awarded certificates for 1st – 3rd place finishers in 7 age categories for each event, and prizes for 1st in each category, for women and youth. Must be present at our awards ceremony to receive awards. Participants in the virtual run will not receive awards.

All are Welcome to Run Our swag and award categories are for women and youth participants, but men are welcome to race with us.

​Refund Policy There will be no refunds for any reason. Contact info@momsontherun.com by 8/15 to arrange a change to your registration such as: distance changes, transfer race registration to another runner, or switching between virtual and in-person (subject to capacity limits). There will be an administrative fee applied to these requests, which will be $10 for distance changes & $15 for registration transfer. Offering your bib to an unregistered participant is not allowed due to legal and liability concerns as well as that fact that it could affect age category results for all participants such as resulting in the rightful winners not receiving their earned prize.

Weather Information The Moms on the Run 5K/10K will be held rain or shine. However, for safety reasons, we will cancel the in-person events due to lightning or other severe weather, and unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds due to costs already incurred. Take care to dress for the weather conditions.

After Party Be sure to stay after the race for the age category awards, DJ and dancing, prize drawings, free food and drink, Maui Wow food truck, and our biggest mom running group award of the day: Inspiring Member of the Year.
