Woodbury Moms on the Run inspires and transforms women through a healthy lifestyle of fitness, fun and friendship. We offer instructor-led fitness programming to women of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re training for your first 5K, training for a longer distance, want to increase your strength or just looking for walking buddies, we have a program for you. You’ll make new friends, find accountability, and have fun while working toward a healthier lifestyle.

SUMMER CLASS SCHEDULE

Strength and Cardio at Uplift Fitness Center

8 week 45min class focusing on total body strength and raising heart rate with low impact exercises.

Starting April 1st- May 31st

Tuesday Interval Training- meeting at Colby Lake Park

60-minute class typically includes 30 minutes of cardio intervals for all levels, a warm-up and cool-down, 12-15 minutes of strength training, and 5-10 minutes of stretching and education. Participants should bring an exercise mat and water bottle.

Throw in more Miles- meeting at rotating parks in Woodbury

Endurance run night/morning allowing you to run or walk for 30 to 45+ minutes. Ending with a mobility stretch to help prevent soreness and injury and ready for the next workout. This class option offers a steady pace cardio workout with an option to focus on increasing mileage, another opportunity to get some movement with your girls or for those interested in training for a 10K, half marathon or beyond.

My name is Kristina Ticknor. I am a wife, a mom of 4 busy kids, a Personal trainer and the lucky owner and head coach of Woodbury Moms on the Run for the last 12years!!

One of my most FAVORITE things is getting to help women take an hour for themselves, to fill their cups, surround themselves with a supportive team to do life with and to help them see they deserve to have goals too.

Dont think you need to see where you are at before you try us out.

We want you RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE and we will motivate, support and take steps with you to where you want to be!

COACH APRIL

I have been with MOTR since 2014 (9 years! WOW! That happened fast!) I’m the mom of two high schoolers, an adorable doggo, and married to my college sweetheart. When I’m not running, I love all the things outdoors, hiking, paddle boarding, and alpine skiing are my favorites. If I’m stuck indoors I’m usually reading or planning my next trip! My favorite part about MOTR: the community. These women have made Woodbury home. When I moved to Woodbury I left my hometown where I knew everyone and moved to where I knew noone!

MOTR became a place for me to make friends and find a community of friends that have become our Minnesota family.

Hi everyone! My name is Jen and this will be my 10th season with Woodbury MOTR and my second season as coach.

My favorite part of running is all the adventures that get planned and life problems that get solved with you ladies out on the trails!

Here’s to a season of not rainy Tuesdays and crushing some new goals!

SPRING AND SUMMER: SIGNATURE TRAINING

Our signature training program lets you attend classes from 1 to 5 times per week. We strongly recommend choosing an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season.

FALL: STRENGTH + CARDIO BOOT CAMP

Our strength and cardio boot camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We’ll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.

WINTER: POLAR RUN AND INDOOR TRAINING

Our Polar run offers you a way to maintain the running endurance you built up during the summer and fall, while staying accountable and motivating during the long, cold winter months.

We also host virtual and indoor strength-training classes.

MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON TRAINING PLANS

Moms on the Run offers training programs and social media groups to current customers who are training for a marathon or half marathon.

Our training plans have been designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson.
