Welcome to Shoreview Moms on the Run 

Today is a great time to join us for fitness, fun and friendship!!

​Moms on the Run is an instructor-led fitness program with coaching to motivate, educate, and encourage you on your fitness journey. Whether you're striving for your first 5K, training for a longer distance, or just looking for walking buddies, we have a program for you! You'll make new friends, find accountability, and have fun while working toward a healthier lifestyle!
​All women and all fitness levels welcome!!

Signature Training Program April 25-August 25, 2022
Our cardiovascular interval training classes for all levels include strength training, stretching, and education. Our Learn to Run program will help you safely build up to your first 5k race. Walkers and experienced runners, improve your speed and endurance with an interval training schedule designed to maximize your fitness levels.
  • Interval Training: Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00pm at Snail Lake Regional Park
  • Sunrise Runs: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30am at Vadnais-Sucker Lake Regional Park
  • Endurance Run: Saturdays 7:30am at Vadnais-Sucker Lake Regional Park
  • Release & Restore Yoga: Sundays 7:00pm-7:40pm live via Zoom or on demand at your convenience. Great way to relax before the work week!

Monthly subscribers will receive access to any class available throughout all sessions (no need to register for future programs - you will automatically be enrolled). Subscribers will have the choice to choose either an Unlimited subscription (attend as many classes as you like), or 1x/Week. In addition, subscribers will receive multiple perks and bonuses for being part of our monthly subscription program, such as:

How it works:
Choose between two monthly subscription options - Unlimited or 1x/Week. If you subscribe to our unlimited option, you can attend ALL indoor, outdoor, and virtual classes during ANY session (no need to sign up in advance). If you subscribe to the once-a-week subscription, you can attend any one class of your choice each week, plus enjoy all of the perks and benefits of our unlimited subscription membership. ​

INERVAL TRAINING 
​Plus Strength

Our signature training classes use cardio intervals to improve metabolism and cardiovascular fitness. Beginning runners will learn to run, moving from mostly walking to running as they progress through the 18-week program. More experienced runners will use intervals to improve their running speed and fitness levels. A short strength training component, stretching, and education concludes the class.

SUNRISE RUNS
Wake Up & Run
Early morning weekday runs rotate between interval training and endurance runs. Both options include a short warm up and conclude with a short yoga or stretching session.

ENDURANCE RUNS
Your Pace & Distance
We offer weekly steady paced cardio workouts with an option to focus on increasing mileage or to get in an additional interval workout. 
Participants typically walk or jog for 30 to 45+ minutes with longer options available for those training for a 10K, half-marathon, or beyond.

Month of Miles, june 1-30

Join us for a fun challenge to stay motivated and accountable with a regular exercise routine. Our Month of Miles Challenge will help you set goals to increase your mileage a little each week as you are challenged to move your body every single day. Walking, jogging, intervals, and running are all counted towards your movement goal. Even if you're usually a runner, walking is an important part of success in this challenge and is encouraged as a safe way to increase mileage.

This is a personal challenge. Start right where you’re at and work up from there. It could be .5 miles for your first day, but the point is to make sure to log something! Try to increase your overall distance each week by 10 percent.* Remember, your only competition is YOU!

*We advise NOT increasing your running if you are already where you want to be with your mileage. Instead, you can build in more walking and increase throughout the challenge. If you do have the personal goal to increase your running, we strongly advise not increasing this mileage more than 10% a week.

Year Round Programming

At Shoreview Moms on the Run we love to gather - no matter what the weather! We offer a variety of year-round programming to help you stay in shape and stay connected to our strong community of women.

18 WEEK SIGNATURE TRAINING
April  - August 

Our signature 18-week training program lets you attend classes from 1 to 5 times per week. We strongly recommend choosing an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season. Both runners and walkers are welcome!

STRENGTH/CARDIO BOOT CAMP
September   - November 

Our 8-week strength and cardio boot camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We'll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.  Walkers and runners are welcome!

​OUTDOOR POLAR CLUB and 
WINTER INDOOR CLASSES 
November - April
Layer up and keep up your endurance with outdoor Polar Club runs or take it indoors with a mixture of strength training, core work, and yoga. ​Our indoor classes combine strength training, cardio, and endurance in the ultimate high-intensity interval training format. You'll raise your heart rate and get incredible results.
