Moms on the Run is an instructor-led fitness program with coaching to motivate, educate and encourage you on your fitness journey. Whether you’re training for your first 5K, training for a longer distance, or just looking for walking buddies, we have a program for you! You’ll make new friends, find accountability, and have fun while working toward a healthier lifestyle.

Signature Training Program April 24-August 27, 2022
Our cardiovascular interval training classes for all levels include strength training, stretching and education. Our Learn to Run program will help you safely build up to your first 5k race. Walkers and experienced runners, improve your speed and endurance with an interval training schedule designed to maximize your fitness levels.  All participants will receive a free Moms on the Run Technical Tank or Tee*. *While supplies last

Class Schedule

Interval Training with Strength: Sundays and Wednesdays at 6pm, Phoenix Park
Wake up Run: Tuesdays at 5:30 am, River Prairie Park & Ride lot, Altoona 
Trail Running: Thursdays at 6pm, Saturdays at 7am, Lowes Creek County Park
Endurance Run: Saturdays at 7am, Phoenix Park

Choose from any 20 classes or unlimited classes during the during the 18 week Signature Training Program via our Flex Pass options.  Any class type during the current enrollment period is included.

OUR PROGRAMMING

At Moms on the Run we love to run - no matter what the weather! We offer a variety of programming to help you stay in shape and stay connected to our strong community of women. Choose a program title below to get more details.
SIGNATURE TRAINING (18 WEEKS)
Offered in Spring/Summer

Our Signature Training Program will get you to that first 5k or help you improve your speed and endurance.  Choose to attend 1-5 classes per week. We recommend including an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season.

STRENGTH & CARDIO BOOT CAMP (8 WEEKS)
​Offered in Fall

Our Strength and Cardio Boot Camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We'll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.

POLAR RUNNING
Our winter classes provide an opportunity to ease into winter running and stay accountable through the cold winter months. Each winter session will give you the encouragement and accountability to maintain your running and strength training through the cold and busy Holiday season. Whether you are new to Moms on the Run or a returning member, we will work with you to help you learn to run or maintain your running momentum throughout the winter.

MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON TRAINING PLANS
​Moms on the Run offers training programs to current customers who are training for a marathon or half marathon. Our training plans have been designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson.
