Moms on the Run is an instructor-led fitness program with coaching to motivate, educate and encourage you on your fitness journey. Whether you’re training for your first 5K, training for a longer distance, or just looking for walking buddies, we have a program for you! You’ll make new friends, find accountability, and have fun while working toward a healthier lifestyle.

Signature Training Program April 23-August 26, 2023

Our cardiovascular interval training classes for all levels include strength training, stretching and education. Our Learn to Run program will help you safely build up to your first 5k race. Walkers and experienced runners, improve your speed and endurance with an interval training schedule designed to maximize your fitness levels.

  • Interval Training: Monday and Wednesday at 6:30pm at Pine Tree Park
  • Thursday Endurance Run: Thursday at 6:30pm at Pine Tree Park
  • Saturday Endurance Run: Saturdays at 7:00am at Pine Tree Park

  • Indoor Track and Strength  - Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:15pm at Park High School Activity Center (class location moves mid March - TBD)
  • Outdoor Run - Saturdays at 8:00am-9:00am at Local Cottage Grove Trails 
  • Restore and Release Yoga for Runners: Virutal Sundays 7:00pm - 7:40pm

Monthly subscribers will receive access to any class available throughout all sessions (no need to register for future programs - you will automatically be enrolled). Subscribers will have the choice to choose either an Unlimited subscription (attend as many classes as you'd like), or 1x/week. In addition, subscribers will receive multiple perks and bonuses for being part of our monthly subscription program, such as:

  • Classes betweeen sessions
  • Membership to our private Facebook group.
  • And more!

How it works:
You have two monthly subscription options - Unlimited or 1x/week. If you subscribe to our unlimited option, you can attend ALL virtual, indoor, and outdoor classes during ANY session (no need to sign up in advance). If you subscribe to the once a week subscription, you can attend ANY one class a week you would like, plus enjoy all of the perks and benefits of our unlimited subscription membership.

Enjoy a fast-paced workout designed to boost your metabolism by combining high intensity cardio blasts with strength training, including a special focus on core strength for runners. ​CELEBRATE MOMS FUN RUN 5K:

​Join us as we celebrate moms during our Mother's Day weekend event: Celebrate MOMS Fun Run 5K. Stay tuned to details on our local event to join in the fun run and after party!

​Everyone is welcome (not just Moms on the Run members). We'll have a fun run, refreshments, flowers and awesome swag. Our 5K package includes our customized flip flops and foot spa kit, plus a printable race bib.

MOMS ON THE RUN 5K/10K/KIDS RUN: AUG. 27, 2023

​The annual Moms on the Run 5K/10K and Kids Run on Sunday, Aug. 27, is a great way to celebrate your summer training season. We are once again in person at beautiful Lake Phalen in St. Paul, MN. If you can't make that date, we also have a virtual option available. New this year, we have a long sleeve quarter zip for all participants!

All women are welcome to join us! This event is fun for all and is not exclusive to members.

OUR PROGRAMMING

At Moms on the Run we love to run - no matter what the weather! We offer a variety of programming to help you stay in shape and stay connected to our strong community of women. Choose a program title below to get more details.
Signature Training (18 weeks)
​Offered in Spring/Summer

Our Signature Training Program will get you to that first 5k or help you improve your speed and endurance.  Choose to attend 1-3 classes per week. We recommend including an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season.

Strength & Cardio boot camp (8 weeks)
​Offered in Fall

Our Strength and Cardio Boot Camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We'll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.

Polar running
Offered in Winter - November to April
Change up your regular running routine and take your fitness indoors!  We offer strength training as well as indoor track workouts.  You'll raise your heart rate and get incredible results. We also have options to layer up and keep up your endurance with outdoor weekend runs.

marathon and half marathon training plans
Moms on the Run offers training programs to current customers who are training for a marathon or half marathon. Our training plans have been designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson.

specialty classes - virtual live offerings
Our specialty virtual classes meet weekly via Zoom with a LIVE instructor. Participants also have access to the classes on demand!
We offer sessions throughout the year, typically 8-12 weeks in length featuring formats such as yoga or STOTT PILATES®. These classes will help you step up your running game, avoid injury and improve performance by accessing and strengthening your core, and improving flexibility.
