At Stillwater Moms on the Run, we empower women (not just moms) through fitness, friendship and fun. Whether you want to walk, start running, improve endurance, increase speed or train for a race, we’re here to support you. We offer coached workout classes and group runs, as well as half and full marathon training plans to help you reach your goals.

Our cardiovascular interval training classes for all levels include strength training, stretching and education. Our Learn to Run program will help you safely build up to your first 5k race. Walkers and experienced runners, improve your speed and endurance with an interval training schedule designed to maximize your fitness levels.
Each 60-minute class typically includes 30 minutes of cardio intervals for all levels, a warm-up and cool-down, 12 minutes of strength training, and 5-10 minutes of stretching and education. Participants should bring an exercise mat and water bottle.
Location: Brown’s Creek Park and Oak Park Crossing Parks
Join us for some fresh air and fun as we take on our miles! Steady walking, Walk/jog or steady run options available.
Locations: Various locations in Stillwater
Join us for some miles, strength, and stay for socializing. This class will be a little different each time we meet. We may meet for a trail run/walk, do a track workout, or hit some stairs. After class, we will plan a social gathering (ice cream stop, apps/mocktails, dinner, and more!
This class will meet around the St Croix Valley area
**THIS CLASS OPTION WILL NOT START UNTIL JUNE 4th AND WILL BE OFFERED EVERY OTHER THURSDAY.**
Our weekly endurance run allows our runners to walk or jog for 30 to 60+ minutes. This class option offers a steady-pace cardio workout with an option to focus on increasing mileage, for those interested in training for a 10K, half marathon or beyond. This class will also have an interval training option each week.
Locations: Trails will be updated weekly and will rotate between Stillwater and Hudson.
Each week we will rotate between downtown Stillwater for Stairs/Hills and trail run/walks around the St Croix area. Get ready to see some beautiful scenery and a great workout!
Meets in the parking lot of Stillwater Veteran’s Memorial and Parks around the St Croix Valley areas.
Intervals & Strength Training – Tuesdays 6pm at Weitkamp Park
Sunrise Run/Walk – Fridays 5:45am at Downtown Hudson or Grandview Park

My journey with running and coaching started back in 2012 when I decided to take my first steps as a runner with Moms on the Run and it sure wasn’t easy, but I did it! In 2013, I decided to take my passion for running a step further by becoming a coach with Hudson and Stillwater Moms on the Run. Coaching allowed me to share my enthusiasm, knowledge, and experience with other incredible moms who were on their own fitness journeys. Seeing the progress and growth of the amazing women I coached brought me immense joy and fulfillment.
As a mom of four, I understand the challenges of balancing family, work, and self-care. Running became my escape, a time when I could prioritize my well-being while also setting a positive example for my children. I’ve tackled everything from 5K races to full marathons. Running has taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, determination, and the importance of setting and achieving goals. I also firmly believe in the power of this program to empower women, build connections, and create a supportive, uplifting atmosphere for women of all fitness levels.

Our unique approach features women of all ages and fitness levels supporting other women. A strong sense of community thrives in this fun team environment. Ultimately, this is the trigger that helps you establish and stick to your fitness routines.
Our friendly and professional coaching staff, including certified fitness instructors, offers additional support and expert advice.
Encouragement and accountability are our forte. Over time, you will form friendships that will help you stay accountable to regular exercise, the program and to each other. Our members-only Facebook group provides support outside of class and helps us stay connected.
Our signature training program lets you attend classes from 1 to 5 times per week. We strongly recommend choosing an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season.
Our strength and cardio boot camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We’ll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.
Our Polar run offers you a way to maintain the running endurance you built up during the summer and fall, while staying accountable and motivating during the long, cold winter months.
We also host virtual and indoor strength-training classes.
Moms on the Run offers training programs and social media groups to current customers who are training for a marathon or half marathon.
Our training plans have been designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson.
