Moms on the Run is an instructor-led fitness program with coaching to motivate, educate and encourage you on your fitness journey. Whether you’re training for your first 5K, training for a longer distance, or just looking for walking buddies, we have a program for you! You’ll make new friends, find accountability, and have fun while working toward a healthier lifestyle.

​Join us any time! Our Signature Training Program is going on this Spring & Summer and we can't wait to meet YOU!
Our cardiovascular interval training classes for all levels include strength training, stretching and education. Our Learn to Run program will help you safely build up to your first 5k race. Walkers and experienced runners, improve your speed and endurance with an interval training schedule designed to maximize your fitness levels.​

Class Schedule 
  • Interval Training: ​Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00pm with Coach Hayley at Living Memorial Park
  • Total Body Conditioning: Sundays at 4:00pm with Coach Hayley at Living Memorial Park
  • ​Release & Restore (Virtual Yoga for Runners): Sundays 7:00pm-7:40pm (Live via Zoom) or On Demand

Our FUN Winter & SPRING CLASSES

INTERVAL TRAINING WITH STRENGTH

30 minutes of cardio + strength & stretching

These classes use cardio intervals to improve metabolism and cardiovascular fitness.  Beginning runners will learn to run, moving from mostly walking to running as they progress, with the goal of completing a 5K distance at the end of the season. Experienced runners will complete 30 minutes of interval training  to improve their running speed and fitness levels, with workouts designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson. A short strength training component, stretching, and education conclude the class.

Total Body Conditioning




​Increase your fitness level and maximize your metabolism with a 60 minute class that provides a comprehensive workout of strength, cardio and flexibility training. Cardio intervals will keep up your heart rate during weight training while yoga moves provide the perfect warmup and cool down!

​With the needs of runners in mind, this virtual class will help you prepare for your weekly workouts, restore your body and calm your mind for the challenges of the week ahead. Keep your muscles long and strong while using yoga to improve breathing, flexibility and core strength. This virtual class is available live and on demand.

Our classes meet at a variety of locations, but primarily Living Memorial Park, 4405 S Nature Center Way, Springfield, MO 65804.

Marathon and Half Marathon Training Plans

 
Moms on the Run offers training programs to current customers who are training for a marathon or half marathon. Our training plans have been designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson.

Our PROGRAMMING

At Moms on the Run we love to run - no matter what the weather! We offer a variety of programming to help you stay in shape and stay connected to our strong community of women. Choose a program title below to get more details.
Signature Training 
Offered in Spring/Summer
Our Signature Training Program will get you to that first 5k or help you improve your speed and endurance.  Choose to attend 1-3 classes per week. We recommend including an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season.

Strength & Cardio Boot Camp
Offered in Fall
Our Strength and Cardio Boot Camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We'll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.

Specialty Classes - Virtual LIVE Offerings
Our specialty virtual classes meet weekly via Zoom with a LIVE instructor. Participants also have access to the classes on demand!

We offer sessions throughout the year, typically 8-12 weeks in length featuring formats such as yoga or STOTT PILATES®. These classes will help you step up your running game, avoid injury and improve performance by accessing and strengthening your core, and improving flexibility.
