Register today for Winter Training classes
Our Winter Training runs January 31, 2023 - April 6, 2023
Winter Training classes provide a total body workout that combines strength and endurance through a combination of calisthenics, core work, interval training, plyometric exercises, muscle conditioning, and partner drills. These workouts range from circuit style that kick starts your cardiovascular fitness to creative muscle building exercises using minimal equipment. Each class will bring its own challenges; no two weeks will be the same! All women and fitness levels are welcome. Bring an exercise mat, pair of dumbbells (5-8 pounds recommended), and a water bottle. Outdoor Running after class is included with your class registration for those that wish to get outdoors. There will not be a group run if windchill temperatures are below 0 degrees. If the sun has set, runners must have a headlamp and reflective vest to run. Winter Training Schedule: Sundays, Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6pm First Presbyterian Church, Pine City, MN |

These classes use cardio intervals to improve metabolism and cardiovascular fitness. Beginning runners will learn to run, moving from mostly walking to running as they progress, with the goal of completing a 5K distance at the end of the season. Experienced runners will complete 30 minutes of interval training to improve their running speed and fitness levels, with workouts designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson.
