Moms on the Run is an instructor-led fitness program with coaching to motivate, educate and encourage you on your fitness journey. Whether you’re training for your first 5K, training for a longer distance, or just looking for walking buddies, we have a program for you! You’ll make new friends, find accountability, and have fun while working toward a healthier lifestyle.

Our cardiovascular interval training classes for all levels include strength training, stretching and education. Our Learn to Run program will help you safely build up to your first 5k race. Walkers and experienced runners, improve your speed and endurance with an interval training schedule designed to maximize your fitness levels. We offer several class formats, but here are a few of our most popular!

Class descriptions
Interval Training with Strength30 minutes of cardio + strength & stretching
These classes use cardio intervals to improve metabolism and cardiovascular fitness. Beginning runners will learn to run, moving from mostly walking to running as they progress, with the goal of completing a 5K distance at the end of the season. Experienced runners will complete 30 minutes of interval training to improve their running speed and fitness levels, with workouts designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson. A short strength training component, stretching, and education conclude the class. |

Release & Restore (Yoga for Runners) With the needs of runners in mind, this virtual class will help you prepare for your weekly workouts, restore your body and calm your mind for the challenges of the week ahead. Keep your muscles long and strong while using yoga to improve breathing, flexibility and core strength. This class is available live and on demand. |
Meeting LOCATION
Spring through fall we'll be meeting at Crown Hill in Wheat Ridge or at Chester Portsmouth Park at the "intersection" of Lakewood/Wheat Ridge/Golden, as well as Berkeley Lake Park in northwest Denver. We will add additional parks as we build our coaching team!

About Our Program
Whether you are a brand new runner, coming back after an injury or absence, or an experienced runner - we have the program for you.
Learn to Run/Return to Run
This option will help you safely build up to a 5k distance. You'll start out mostly walking, and then as you build in running you may choose to continue with walk/run intervals or progress to running without walk breaks by the end of the season.

Intermediate Running
This option is adaptable for all levels of runners, however, it was designed for improving cardiovascular fitness in intermediate runners. Runners will start the program with jog/run intervals with the intensity of the program determined by personal effort within the options provided.

Walking
Walkers are always welcome and our interval walking program is a great workout! Regardless of speed, all levels start and finish our cardio workouts together and our group strength and flexibility training caters to all levels.

Signature Training
Offered in Spring/Summer
Our Signature Training Program will get you to that first 5k or help you improve your speed and endurance. Choose to attend 1-3 classes per week. We recommend including an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season.

Strength & Cardio Boot Camp
Offered in Fall
Our Strength and Cardio Boot Camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We'll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.

Marathon and Half Marathon Training Plans
Specialty Classes - Virtual LIVE Offerings
Our specialty virtual classes meet weekly via Zoom with a LIVE instructor. Participants also have access to the classes on demand!
We offer sessions throughout the year, typically 8-12 weeks in length featuring formats such as yoga or STOTT PILATES®. These classes will help you step up your running game, avoid injury and improve performance by accessing and strengthening your core, and improving flexibility. |
