Should stay-at-home orders go into effect, we have virtual programming ready to go and will make adjustments as needed to accommodate the continually changing landscape of Covid-19.

Moms on the Run is an instructor-led fitness program with coaching to motivate, educate and encourage you on your fitness journey. Whether you’re training for your first 5K, training for a longer distance, or just looking for walking buddies, we have a program for you! You’ll make new friends, find accountability, and have fun while working toward a healthier lifestyle.

Cardiovascular
Interval Training Our signature training classes use cardio intervals to improve metabolism and cardiovascular fitness. Beginning runners will learn to run, moving from mostly walking to running as they progress, with the goal of completing a 5K distance at the end of the season. More experienced runners will complete 30 minutes of interval training designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson to improve their running speed and fitness levels. A short strength training component, stretching, and education concludes the class. |
Endurance Run
Our weekly endurance run allows our runners to walk or jog for 30 to 45+ minutes. This class option offers a steady pace cardio workout with an option to focus on increasing mileage, for those interested in training for a 10K, half marathon or beyond. |

We love to run...even in the winter! Our Polar Run Club provides the opportunity to keep getting fresh air, the support to keep you accountable to your fitness goals, and help your running legs stay in top shape through the long, cold months.
Includes a membership to our Twin Cities metro-wide Polar Run Club which allows you to run at any location. Checkout class meeting info for other locations at our Moms on the Run Polar Run page.

At Hastings Moms on the Run we love to run - no matter what the weather! We offer a variety of year-round programming to help you stay in shape and stay connected to our strong community of women.
18 Week Signature Training
April 26-August 29, 2021
Our signature 18-week training program lets you attend classes from 1 to 5 times per week. We strongly recommend choosing an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season.

Strength & Cardio Boot CampSeptember-November 2021
Our 8-week strength and cardio boot camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We'll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.

Polar Run

Our Polar Runs offers you a way to maintain the running endurance you built up during the summer and fall, while staying accountable and motivating during the long, cold winter months. Our Polar Runs gives you the organization and structure you need to succeed.

Release and Restore: Yoga for Runners
With the needs of runners in mind, this class will help you prepare for your weekly workouts, restore your body and calm your mind for the challenges of the week ahead. Keep your muscles long and strong while using yoga to improve breathing, flexibility and core strength.

Pilates Foundations for Runners
The foundations of STOTT PILATES® will step up your running game! Learning the five basic principles of STOTT PILATES and practicing select essential exercises will prepare you for everything from daily tasks to your next 10K. A series of 8 lessons will introduce the language and movement of Pilates in a way that will allow you to avoid injury and improve performance by accessing and strengthening your core, and improving flexibility.
