At Coon Rapids Moms on the Run, we empower women (not just moms) through fitness, friendship and fun. Whether you want to walk, start running, improve endurance, increase speed or train for a race, we’re here to support you. We offer coached workout classes and group runs, as well as half and full marathon training plans to help you reach your goals.

WINTER TRAINING SCHEDULE

Track workouts are for walkers or runners. A weekly training plan will be provided or feel free to come and do your own workouts.

Meet upstairs at the Andover Community Center Track.

Wednesdays 6:30pm – 7:15pm

Saturdays 7:30am 

Blaine Super Rink – Herb Brooks Training Room (enter at door #5). Go up the stairs and enter the training room on the right.

Bunker Hills

Our weekly endurance run allows our runners to walk or jog for 30 to 45+ minutes.
This class option offers a steady pace cardio workout with an option to focus on increasing mileage, for those interested in training for a 10K, half marathon or beyond.

I am a mom to 3 young-adult boys. In addition, I work full time for a busy urgent care/emergency medicine company and have been part of MOTR since 2010, where I started as an assistant coach. I have been a MOTR franchise owner since 2011 and have an amazing team of coaches. The community of women at MOTR and connecting people brings me so much joy. I would love to guide you in your fitness goals while making friendship and fun part of the journey.

Our destination weekends have become synonymous with fun, so we're excited to organize a weekend in the heart of California's beautiful wine region. Join us for the ultimate adventure weekend, Feb. 27-Mar. 3, 2026. Our cornerstone race is the Napa Valley Marathon, Half and 5K, a super scenic race in an idyllic location. SPRING AND SUMMER: SIGNATURE TRAINING

Our signature training program lets you attend classes from 1 to 5 times per week. We strongly recommend choosing an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season.

FALL: STRENGTH + CARDIO BOOT CAMP

Our strength and cardio boot camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We’ll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.

WINTER: POLAR RUN AND INDOOR TRAINING

Our Polar run offers you a way to maintain the running endurance you built up during the summer and fall, while staying accountable and motivating during the long, cold winter months.

We also host virtual and indoor strength-training classes.

MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON TRAINING PLANS

Moms on the Run offers training programs and social media groups to current customers who are training for a marathon or half marathon.

Our training plans have been designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson.
