​Moms on the Run is an instructor-led fitness program with coaching to motivate, educate and encourage you on your fitness journey. Whether you’re training for your first 5K, training for a longer distance, or just looking for walking buddies, we have a program for you! You’ll make new friends, find accountability, and have fun while working toward a healthier lifestyle.

Signature Training Program through October

Classes run September 20 - October 18

Our cardiovascular interval training classes for all levels include strength training, stretching and education. Our Learn to Run program will help you safely build up to your first 5k race. Walkers and experienced runners, improve your speed and endurance with an interval training schedule designed to maximize your fitness levels.

  • Interval Training:  Wednesdays with Coach Rachel at 6:00pm at Duluth's Lakewalk 
  • Yogalates (Yoga + Strength for Runners): Mondays 6:45am-7:30am with Coach Steph C - attend live via Zoom or watch on demand at your convenience

​*Note: You may pause your subscription for up to two months, and you will be charged a $10 administration fee.  You may cancel at any time after your first payment.  We require 30 days’ written notice, and you will be charged a $25 administration fee.  Email info@momsontherun.com to request a pause or cancellation of your subscription.

Strength and Cardio Boot Camp Classes

Interval Training with Strength Workout

The class format includes 20 minutes of walk/run intervals intermixed with 20 minutes of strength training and 10 minutes of warm-up, cool down and stretching. Participants are encourage to bring 5 lb weights and a yoga mat.

Endurance Run 
​(or walk!)

Our weekly steady paced cardio workouts are designed to help participants build endurance and either increase their mileage, maintain their running base, or add in an additional interval workout.

Release & restore:
Yoga for runners

With the needs of runners in mind, this virtual class will help you prepare for your weekly workouts, restore your body and calm your mind for the challenges of the week ahead. Keep your muscles long and strong while using yoga to improve breathing, flexibility and core strength. This class is available live and on demand.

Our Winter classes are live on Zoom. Our Spring through Fall Interval Training classes meet at a parking lot off Duluth's Lakewalk, please contact us for details.

Marathon and Half Marathon Training Plans

 
Moms on the Run offers training programs to current customers who are training for a marathon or half marathon. Our training plans have been designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson.

Our PROGRAMMING

At Moms on the Run we love to run - no matter what the weather! We offer a variety of programming to help you stay in shape and stay connected to our strong community of women. Choose a program title below to get more details.
SUMMER signature Training
Offered in Spring and Summer
Our Signature Training Program will get you to that first 5k or help you improve your speed and endurance.  Choose to attend 1-3 classes per week. We recommend including an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season.

FALL Strength & Cardio Boot Camp
Offered in Fall
Our Strength and Cardio Boot Camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We'll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.

Specialty Classes - Virtual LIVE Offerings
Our specialty virtual classes meet weekly via Zoom with a LIVE instructor. Participants also have access to the classes on demand!

We offer sessions throughout the year, typically 8-12 weeks in length featuring formats such as yoga or STOTT PILATES®. These classes will help you step up your running game, avoid injury and improve performance by accessing and strengthening your core, and improving flexibility.
