Scroll down to check out our offerings! ​We offer in-person classes that follow health and safety  policies including social distancing and size limits according to federal, state and local health guidelines. Should shelter in place orders go  into effect, we have virtual programming ready to go and will make adjustments as needed to accommodate the continually changing landscape of Covid-19. 


Our current winter session is scheduled to run through March 28th.  Please email Stillwater@momsontherun.com for prorated plans.   Our Winter program includes a variety of offerings including Virtual Strength/HIIT, outdoor runs/walks and Yoga for Runners. Join us today to experience a new level of community and connection with Moms on the Run.

2021 Spring/Summer Program (April 26 - August 28)
Moms on the Run is an instructor-led fitness program with coaching to motivate, educate and encourage you on your fitness journey. Whether you’re training for your first 5K, training for a longer distance, or just looking for walking buddies, we have a program for you! You’ll make new friends, find accountability, and have fun while working toward a healthier lifestyle.
Socially Distanced, In-Person Outdoor Meetups (Run/Walk)
  • Monday Interval Training: 6:30 p.m. at Brown's Creek Park, Stillwater
  • NEW! Wednesday Interval Training:  9:00 a.m. Autumn Hills Park, Stillwater
  • NEW! Thursday Run/Walk and Strength 6:30 p.m. rotating between Oak Park Crossing, Stillwater and Fitness Park Downtown Hudson
  • Friday Rise and Shine Base Run/Walk: 5:45 a.m. Brown's Creek Trail, Stillwater
  • Friday Mid-Morning Miles and Strength at 9 a.m. various location in Stillwater
  • Saturday Endurance Run/Walk:  8 a.m. rotating between Brown's Creek and Lakeland Trail
  • ​Sunday Stairs or Trail: 7:30 a.m. various locations throughout the St Croix Valley

 INTERVAL TRAINING WITH STRENGTH WORKOUT

Our signature training classes use cardio intervals to improve metabolism and cardiovascular fitness.  Beginning runners will learn to run, moving from mostly walking to running as they progress, with the goal of completing a 5K distance at the end of the season. More experienced runners will complete 30 minutes of interval training designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson to improve their running speed and fitness levels. A short strength training component, stretching, and education concludes the class.

​​We offer weekly steady paced cardio workouts with an option to focus on increasing mileage or to get in an additional interval workout. Participants typically walk or jog for 30 to 45+ minutes with longer options available for those training for a 10K, half marathon or beyond.

Hills and Stairs

Each week we will rotate between stair workouts in downtown Stillwater and trail run/walks throughout the St Croix Valley.  Learn trail and stair running/walking techniques and get ready to see some beautiful scenery!

cardio and Strength

The class format includes a combination of high/low intervals (run/jog; run/walk; power walk/easy walk) intermixed with strength/plyometric exercise options, along with a warmup, cool down, and stretch.

Release & Restore: Yoga

This class will help you prepare for your weekly workouts, restore your body and calm your mind for the challenges of the week ahead. Keep your muscles long and strong while using yoga to improve breathing, flexibility and core strength.

PILATES FOUNDATIONS FOR RUNNERS

The foundations of STOTT PILATES® will step up your running game! Learning the five basic principles of STOTT PILATES and practicing select essential exercises will prepare you for everything from daily tasks to your next 10K. A series of 8 lessons will introduce the language and movement of Pilates in a way that will allow you to avoid injury and improve performance by accessing and strengthening your core, and improving flexibility.
Equipment needed: A Merrithew® Mini Stability Ball will serve as a muscular focus and substitute for hands on cueing from your instructor, Peggie Zoerhof, STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor, Post Rehab Specialist, Dance Specialist, Athletic Specialist, Pink Ribbon Post Rehab Specialist, Total Barre® Instructor, Zenga® Instructor, Founder of The Intelligent Body Pilates Studio.

WINTER TRAINING PROGRAM

November 2, 2020-March 28, 2021
Don't let the cold Minnesota winters scare you away from getting a great workout! We offer both indoor and outdoor workouts to help you maintain the strength and conditioning you built over the summer and fall. We offer a great yoga for running class and we'll layer up and keep up your endurance with outdoor weekend runs.

SIGNATURE TRAINING

April 2021 - August 2021
Our signature training program lets you attend classes from 1 to 5 times per week. We strongly recommend choosing an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season

STRENGTH & CARDIO BOOT CAMP

September 2021 - October 2021
Our 8-week Strength and Cardio Boot Camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We'll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.
