  Please note the outdoor Polar Run Club locations vary depending on weather/condition of the paths.Moms on the Run is an instructor-led fitness program with coaching to motivate, educate and encourage you on your fitness journey. Whether you’re training for your first 5K, training for a longer distance, or just looking for walking buddies, we have a program for you! You’ll make new friends, find accountability, and have fun while working toward a healthier lifestyle.

Signature Training Program April 24-August 26, 2023
Our cardiovascular interval training classes for all levels include strength training, stretching and education. Our Learn to Run program will help you safely build up to your first 5k race. Walkers and experienced runners, improve your speed and endurance with an interval training schedule designed to maximize your fitness levels.

Class Schedule
  • Mix Up Mondays: Mondays 6pm at Brown's Creek Park or Downtown Stillwater.  This class will consist of base run/walks incorporating intervals, sometime with hills and stairs.  Each week maybe a little different.
  • Intervals Training: Wednesdays 6pm at Oak Park Crossing and Saturdays 8am with the Endurance Class
  • Trail Run/Walk:  Thursdays 6pm at Willow River State Park*
  • Sunrise Run/Walk: Fridays at 5:45am, downtown Stillwater
  • Mid Morning Run/Walk: Fridays 9am meeting at parks around Stillwater area.
  • Endurance Run/Walks: Saturdays at 8:00am **
  • Sunday Trails or Stairs: Sundays at 7:30am rotating between parks in the Hudson and Stillwater area*

30 minutes of cardio + strength & stretching

These classes use cardio intervals to improve metabolism and cardiovascular fitness.  Beginning runners will learn to run, moving from mostly walking to running as they progress, with the goal of completing a 5K distance at the end of the season. Experienced runners will complete 30 minutes of interval training  to improve their running speed and fitness levels, with workouts designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson. A short strength training component, stretching, and education conclude the class.

ENDURANCE RUN
(OR WALK!)

Our weekly steady paced cardio workouts are designed to help participants build endurance and either increase their mileage, maintain their running base, or add in an additional interval workout. Participants typically walk or jog for 30 to 45+ minutes with longer options available for those training for a 10K, half marathon or beyond.

Trail Run/Hike

​Feeling adventurous? This is the class for you! Join us as we explore various trails  throughout the St Croix Valley Area!  Routes will offer a variety of terrain (grass, packed dirt, gravel,...) and offer a variety distances to accommodate mileage preferences.  Class includes 5 min warm up, 45 min on the trail, and 5 min cooldown/stretch.  Run or walk options available.

CELEBRATE MOMS FUN RUN 5K:
​MAY 13, 2023

Join us as we celebrate moms during our Mother's Day weekend event: Celebrate MOMS Fun Run 5K. Stay tuned to details on our local event to join in the fun run and after party!

​Everyone is welcome (not just Moms on the Run members). We'll have a fun run, refreshments, flowers and awesome swag. Our 5K package includes our customized flip flops and foot spa kit, plus a printable race bib.

MOMS ON THE RUN 5K/10K/KIDS RUN: AUG. 27, 2023

The annual Moms on the Run 5K/10K and Kids Run on Sunday, Aug. 27, is a great way to celebrate your summer training season. We are once again in person at beautiful Lake Phalen in St. Paul, MN. If you can't make that date, we also have a virtual option available. New this year, we have a long sleeve quarter zip for all participants!

All women are welcome to join us! This event is fun for all and is not exclusive to members.

OUR PROGRAMMING

At Moms on the Run we love to run - no matter what the weather! We offer a variety of programming to help you stay in shape and stay connected to our strong community of women. Choose a program title below to get more details.
​SIGNATURE TRAINING (18 WEEKS)
​Offered in Spring/Summer

Our Signature Training Program will get you to that first 5k or help you improve your speed and endurance.  Choose to attend 1-3 classes per week. We recommend including an interval class at least once a week, which includes a higher level of structure and support. From walkers to runners, women will start at their own level and progress throughout the season.

STRENGTH & CARDIO BOOT CAMP (8 WEEKS)
​Offered in Fall

Our Strength and Cardio Boot Camp offers a variety of workout options to help you get fit. We'll help maximize your metabolism by providing run/walk high intensity interval training (HIIT) at your level. Enhance your fitness level by improving strength, muscle tone, speed and agility.

​WINTER TRAINING PROGRAM
Offered in Winter - November to April
Change up your regular running routine and take your fitness indoors!  We offer strength training as well as indoor track workouts.  You'll raise your heart rate and get incredible results. We also have options to layer up and keep up your endurance with outdoor weekend runs.

​MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON TRAINING PLANS
​Moms on the Run offers training programs to current customers who are training for a marathon or half marathon. Our training plans have been designed by our National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson.

​SPECIALTY CLASSES - VIRTUAL LIVE OFFERINGS
​Our specialty virtual classes meet weekly via Zoom with a LIVE instructor. Participants also have access to the classes on demand!

We offer sessions throughout the year, typically 8-12 weeks in length featuring formats such as yoga or STOTT PILATES®. These classes will help you step up your running game, avoid injury and improve performance by accessing and strengthening your core, and improving flexibility.
