DR. ANGIE VOIGHT
Dr. Voight received her undergraduate degree from Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minnesota and University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and her residency with St. John’s Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program connected to the University of Minnesota. Additionally, she completed a sports medicine fellowship at the University of California in San Diego, California.
Dr. Voight is the Team Doctor for TEAM USA Minnesota, and has served as team physician for both high school and collegiate sport teams, as well as many marathons and sporting events around the country. Dr. Voight is a competitive marathon runner herself, with a PR of 2:52! Dr Voight was honored as Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine Rising Stars in 2018 for excellence in medicine. She was also listed as Minnesota Monthly Best Doctor.
Carrie Tollefson
Carrie’s running career began in high school where she was a 13-time state champion. She competed at Villanova University, where she was a 5-time NCAA Champion and the 1998 NCAA Indoor Track Athlete of the Year. In her post collegiate career, she won three national championships and earned the #1 spot in the country in 2004 after winning the 1500-meter at the U.S. Olympic Trials and going on to represent the U.S. at the Olympic Games in Athens.
In addition to her roles at Moms on the Run as National Fitness Director and Head Coach to the St. Paul Highland franchise, Carrie is an ESPN2 analyst and a commentator for national events. She lives and trains here in Minnesota with her husband Charlie and their three children.
