Moms on the Run began in 2008 in Forest Lake, Minnesota, when a group of moms started meeting to exercise in a local park and decided they needed a new goal to spice up their post-baby fitness journey: a 5K race! Our trademark “learn to run” curriculum was born and a variety of training programs for all levels quickly followed. Since beginning to franchise in 2012, Moms on the Run has grown rapidly to 48 locations in seven states and has served more than 5,000 customers. Franchise Development Director, Part Time
Moms on the Run inspires and transforms women through a healthy lifestyle of fitness, fun and friendship. Our dedication to this mission has allowed us to grow to 50 units through the power of word-of-mouth. Now, we're ready to take our company to the next level! To help accelerate our growth, we're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Part-Time Franchise Development Director to join our team.
Moms on the Run has a unique franchise revenue model - our franchisees operate part-time. Because of our low franchise fee and high sales-close rate, we wish to keep the development role part-time to keep our pace of growth manageable. Compensation for this position is negotiable as a monthly retainer or hourly, plus commission. Contract or Employment status is negotiable. This 5- to 10-hour a week position is 100% remote and will report directly to the Founder & CEO.
As the Franchise Development Director, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the franchise sales process. This includes:
- Develop franchise sales strategy and plan
- Contribute expertise to our franchise development marketing plan
- Attracting and identifying quality leads
- Build and maintain relationships with potential franchisees
- Educate potential franchisees about our brand and franchise opportunity
- Finalize and close sales
In this role, you will also have supervisory responsibilities for a part-time business development assistant. To aid in the sales process, you will have access to our world-class technology, which will allow you to efficiently track the entire process.
Requirements:
- 2 years of franchise sales experience
- Self-starter
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of franchise laws and regulations
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Passionate about helping women

SPONSORSHIP SALES COORDINATOR
Moms on the Run (MOTR) is seeking a sponsorship sales contractor to help connect MOTR with like-minded business/corporate partners who want to share their message with household buyers and fit-minded families. This position will be responsible for connecting with potential external partners to provide the sponsorship opportunities that are available and will nurture the relationship until the sponsorship is secured. Once sponsorship is secured, Moms on the Run corporate staff will be responsible for tracking fulfillment and deliverables.
We’re seeking a sales associate who has experience securing corporate sponsorships. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong communication and follow-through skills, and is passionate about MOTR’s mission. This role is for an independent contractor and will be paid based on commission sales, with a minimum hourly wage available. Please note: this is an extremely part-time role and will be approximately 20 to 40 hours over the entire spring and summer, and 10-20 hours in the fall and winter, with the ability to spread out the hours as desired in future years.

Marketing COMMUNICations INTERN
Projects include writing blogs and social media posts, assisting with newsletters, and depending on skills and interests, designing promotional images in Canva. This position is ideal for a college senior pursuing a related degree or a recent graduate. A stipend is available.
