Training Tip with carrie: Let's Support Each Other

Moms on the Run National Fitness Director, Olympian Carrie Tollefson, regularly shares training tips regarding running, fitness and health. Today's training tip is let's support each other. In this era of virtual training and cancelled and postponed races, we wanted to provide something fun you can do solo or with your family and, at the same time, support our Moms on the Run family.

If you would have told us a couple months ago that all of our races would be cancelled or postponed, we would have thought you were crazy, right? One fun thing you can do right now is register for a virtual run, and we have a great one at Moms on the Run. We are calling it Your Place, Your Pace, and it starts this weekend. 
  • Support small business: Help support Moms on the Run through this economic challenge, AND have something fun and motivating to do! 
  • Choose your distance/accomplish a goal: Tackle that distance you’ve been training for (if your race is now cancelled) or choose a fun family walk. 
  • Receive fun swag: Your virtual swag will be delivered right to your inbox on 4/24. Includes printable race bibs and our beautiful full-color Family Fun and Wellness Guide. We also have a chance for prizes. Participate any time between 4/24-5/3. Share your photos with us on social media using hashtags #socialdistancingtogether and #MOTRstrong.
