![]() In light of all the recent events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Moms on the Run want to share uplifting stories about what our members are doing to stay active, to continue to crush goals, and to remain in community as a team. If you or your team are doing something fun or unique or cool, please email us here. We'd love to share it with our members. Burnsville and Lakeville Moms on the Run have been keeping their MOTR community strong with Virtual Zoom lifts and yoga, Zoom social hours, Zoom pre/post run meetups, Zoom kids programming and themed runs. Kicking off their four-week Prep for Spring session, they have been doing themed runs every Sunday and have been getting 20+ members to participate each week. Owner Kim Burggraaf says she announces a theme earlier in the week (usually by Tues/Wed) and then has prizes for each week's run. They lead a warmup via Zoom at 8 a.m. and a coffee check-in via Zoom at 10 a.m.; everyone has different schedules so if they can't make it live, they post their pictures from their run throughout the day to the group's private FB event. A drawing is held on Mondays for prizes. Their themes have included MN Hot Dash, It's a Jungle Out There, Pretty in Pink and Think Spring — Run Like a Bunny.
Such a fun way to stay connected!
