Moms on the Run is a proud sponsor of Feed My Starving Children.
Whether reading a book or trying some breathing exercises, everyone has a favorite way to relax. Refocus your mind and reduce stress, relieve headaches and ease insomnia with the help of meditation. Our sponsor MedExpress shares meditation tips you can do at home and some of the physical health benefits you may experience. Read the full article here.
As a retired nurse of 41 years, St. Cloud (MN) Moms on the Run member Melanie Neubauer has spent her life helping others. This year has been no exception. Consumed with caring for her in-laws after medical emergencies in Arizona and now in Montana, Melanie has stayed committed to running — and her St. Cloud Moms on the Run team — despite the distance.
Moms on the Run is honored to be named one of the 25 largest Twin Cities-based franchise companies in the United States. Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal recently featured Moms on the Run in their franchise listing, as well as in an inspiring story about how we are making it through the pandemic year here.
"They did a great job of spreading our positive message for business during a tough economic year," explained Founder and CEO Karissa Johnson. "I didn't get to choose everything they included in the article of course. They missed my emphasis on how awesome our franchisees are and how everyone's teamwork and positive attitudes are getting us through this challenging time!"
It is true: Moms on the Run would not be possible without our franchisees, our members and our sponsors. Thank you!
Imagine living in a community where people are already going without food. Enter in a global health pandemic — experts predict COVID-19's impact will leave 265 million on the brink of starvation this year — and you have an even bigger problem. Since our inception, Moms on the Run has chosen to donate 10% of our profits to our charity partner, Feed My Starving Children. This year, Moms on the Run is proud to sponsor the Race to Feed Kids, Sept. 21-26, encouraging families to outrun 2020 and step in the gap against global hunger.
You can be a part of the race by creating a fundraising page here, choosing your activity goal and recruiting family and friends to join you. Your "race" can be any activity you want: run, bike, do chores, rake leaves. This event takes the place of FMSC's annual in-person fundraising gala. Join us in the Race to Feed Kids.
