We have two great challenges coming up to motivate you in the new year!
First, our Winter Workout Challenge is back! This is a free, fun challenge that will launch January 6. For one week, we will post on our national Facebook and Instagram pages one exercise a day to challenge all levels. If you are just beginning your journey, you can choose to do that day's challenge at one time or throughout the day, making sure to complete the exercise by the end of the day. If you are advanced, you can level up and do the daily challenge twice! (For example, 50 squats becomes 100 squats.) After you complete the exercise, you will post on our national Facebook page: challenge completed. This post will qualify you for that day's entry; one lucky winner on both Facebook and Instagram every day will win our Moms on the Run Touch Screen Gloves. The Winter Workout Challenge will run Monday through Sunday, Jan. 6-12.
The holidays are approaching, which means it's party season. Tempting appetizers, drinks and a slew of activities can put a damper on all of the work you've done throughout the year toward your fitness and health. Once again, we bring you our annual Healthy Holiday Challenge. Simple and sustainable healthy behaviors are key during this hectic month. Choose what lifestyle habit you want to work on each week and keep us posted on your progress. Our goal is to help you maintain your weight and keep you accountable during this busy, festive season — all while having some fun. And since they were so popular last year, once again we'll be featuring #healthyselfies and additional prize opportunities!

After seeing posts from the Lakeville/Burnsville group, Jamie had ‘join Moms on the Run’ on her to-do list for a while. Last spring, the stars finally aligned and Jamie Schmitt registered for her first season.
One of the best parts of running is showing her 3-year-old daughter, Brooklyn, the joys of getting out and being healthy. Brooklyn often joins her mom and other kids to run now, and is quick to ask, “Are we going running with the ladies?”
While enjoying this sport with her daughter, Jamie has also come to appreciate the comradery of the group and loves the tips and support from Coach Kim, especially when they’re out on hills. Doing it together, pushes Jamie to drive a little harder and lift a little heavier. “It’s inspiring to see every level come together and motivate each other on the group runs and intervals.”
The Twin Cities metro area is home to some fun, picturesque, engaging places. We invite you to our next contest: the 2019 Twin Cities Photo Run!
We have compiled a list of places around the Twin Cities metro area for this adventure. Your challenge, if you decide to take it, is to find the locations listed, head there, and take your photo. The more places you visit, the better chances you have to win. You can make it as creative as you'd like: show us your team, your friends, your family, your furry family member.
The rules are as follows:
Keep those New Year’s Resolutions going strong! Welcome to MOTRvate28, our new 28-day healthy lifestyle challenge for the month of February. It’s everything you liked about our former Healthy Holiday Challenge, with local team accountability to add to the fun*. If you are in one of our southern U.S. locations, you may already be in your active training season and can use this as an extra motivator.
