Liji says she joined Moms on the Run because she wanted to shed her post-pregnancy excess weight. She was struggling to get into shape and her health conditions (hypothyroidism and Polycystic Ovarian Disease) made it even harder. Her sister, who is a doctor, encouraged her to start some exercise and strength training.
We get asked all the time which supplements will help with your running and your recovery and which will hurt, and that’s why we brought in a trusted registered dietitian to bust the myths and give us the full scoop on supplements!

In its latest July/August publication, Duluth, Minn.-based Moms and Dads Today magazine features new MOTR location, Duluth Moms on the Run. The article, titled “Moms on the Run, Sharing Fitness, Fun and Friendship,” introduces Moms on the Run to the Duluth community. Duluth owner Candy Irwin moved last August from Memphis, TN, to the northern Minnesota city, situated on Lake Superior. (Duluth is also home to the well-known Grandma's Marathon.) She was looking for a running group similar to that which she experienced in Memphis, so opening a Moms on the Run franchise was the perfect solution. Since its launch the end of April, Duluth Moms on the Run is proving to be a positive addition to the community. We hope this media coverage reaches more women in the Duluth area who want to join the fitness and fun!
We would like to thank our 2017 #MOTRstrong Instagram Contest sponsors for making this all possible:
