2018: Push Through to a Healthier You

2018 is upon us. I don't know about you, but 2017 went by in a blur. There are so many things we wanted to do but didn't. There are so many things we did and can celebrate. This new year, our motto at Moms on the Run is "Push through to a healthier you." Whether you've been to every class or have missed a workout or two lately, we are here for you!
Push through every class. Our program is designed for all levels and even if you miss a class, let us help you get back on track. A common thought is “I’m so far behind...,” but isn’t being behind better than starting over? If you take one class at a time, and push yourself to get out of that mindset, you’ll look back and be glad you did.

Push through your setbacks. We all have them and that’s okay — they can help motivate us. You know you can do it again. Let your friends know where you want to be, and they will help push you there! Don’t worry if you are going to be late for class. Push through the worry and just get there. Some of class is better than none AND who doesn’t want to see their friends!

Push through the negative thinking. Replace the “I wants” with the “I cans.” Push through one more rep, one more minute, one more interval; you CAN do it.

Push through — and applaud — your achievements, big or small. It may not have been your goal, but if its farther, faster, or more than you’ve done before, you certainly have something to celebrate! Give yourself credit where credit is due, and your friends will celebrate too.  You are pushing through to a healthier you.

Push through for you — and those who are watching you. We need to treat ourselves physically and mentally with respect. Whether we want to be or not, we are role models for our families! Healthier moms, healthier families, healthier YOU.
